COPY PASTE INSTRUCTIONS AND TROUBLE SHOOT

Note: most DAWs have a different way to paste. We will update this webpage with more instructions. Check your DAW’s app instructions if a simple ‘tap’ doesn’t work . When your DAW has copy/paste functionality it will work (a.o. Garageband, Auria, Cubasis, Music Studio, Multitrack Daw)!!

GARAGEBAND copy/paste instructions:

1. In Percussion Loops HD press copy to pasteboard for the loop you want to copy. A popup appears which says the loop is copied to pasteboard

2. Open Garageband, and open new or existing song.

3. Tap your finger on empty field within your song, a ‘paste’ pop-up appears and click paste. A new track will appear with the loop.

4. The loop is 2 bars (stereo mix) and cut to perfection in its own bpm. To repeat the loop at any length, select the loop by tapping on it, then tap again and a dialog will appear with options (choose ‘loop’ to repeat).

NB: The ‘copied to GB’ loop’s bpm will follow instantly the bpm of your Garageband project (tempo change).
You can also choose to set GB to the proper loop’s bpm first and change it after pasting the loop. This is wise when the bpm of your project is much higher (or lower) than the chosen loop’s bpm.

NOTE: Audiobus triggers – in iOS 7.0.2 the Garageband audiobus rec button doesn’t work properly. This problem is fixed in iOS 7.0.3 (iOS update october 23rd)

MUSIC STUDIO copy/paste instructions:

1. In Percussion Loops HD press copy to pasteboard for the loop you want to copy. A popup appears which says the loop is copied to pasteboard

3. Click the tab TRACKS and click + audio so a new track appears

4. Press the blue folder icon in the upper row (third from the right)

5. In the load audio file popup, press audio folder and select audio paste

6. Check if the source is set to General Pasteboard.wav, otherwise select General Pasteboard.wav Click ok; paste popup appears

7. Press AudioPaste From Pasteboard

8. Give the audio paste a name (this will be the name of the track) and click ok

AURIA copy/paste instructions:

1. In Percussion Loops HD press copy to pasteboard for the loop you want to copy. A popup appears which says the loop is copied to pasteboard

2. Open your Auria project (in the correct BPM), select the track (blue frame appears) or add track you want the loop pasted to and in the Edit menu select AudioPaste. (you can also enter number of iterations)

3. In the pasteboard window that opens select File and scrol up in the file list until you see – General Pasteboard Unknown. Select it and tap paste.
Note: in the latest Auria version a popup with the audiopaste track appears…..if not……check the note below!!

4. You should see the pasted loop appear on your selected track in Auria.

2. Slide up the bottom of the screen to open the dock with wifi etc…
3. Check the volume at the left, put it to maximum
4. Check the mute button, it should be black.

Here are two screenshots; the first one with the wrong settings and the second one with the correct ones:
